Jiangsu. The sustainable resource-environmental development capacity presents the spatial pattern of "凸", higher in the middle while lower in the east and the west of Northern Jiangsu. The sustainable social development capacity presents the spatial pattern of "M" and the prehensive development capacity presents the spatial pattern of "H" in Northern Jiangsu. There is a trend of the sustainable development capacity in Northern Jiangsu that it decreases gradually from the middle to the border while taking key city as core. According to these characteristics of spatial differentiation, some suggestions to strengthen the construction of sustainable development capacity in Northern Jiangsu are put forward.
