Onthe basis oftraditional simple control, the newly-designed traffic lights control system has the function of cars inemergency situation force passages ,nighttime mode and alarm mode and corresponding program are given. Then having carried onthe simulation debugging bysoftware and s7-200simulation software,the programe isrunningcorrectly ,meet theproper timing control requirements oftraffic lights signal incityintersection .
