His tragedy reflects thousands of Americans’ tragic fate. Their life is destroyed by the “beautiful” dream—American Dream. The American Dream makes them lose their traditional value and obscure what human being really has. His fate also charges what the American government flatters. Simultaneously, Willy’s tragedy awakes American from the American Dream. As Haloed says, “Willy’s tragedy is a huge bomb in American society.” Willy’s tragedy makes everyone know what they should pursue. It is more about the American Dream which calls for deep thought by people. And the tragedy touches the right chord within the national psyche.
