nson’s“Rocket”Anamphibiouscar(2003)Thisisthefirstcarthatcantravelsafelyonwaterandonland.Whenmovingonwater,thewheelsofthecarturnsidewaysandmoveintothebody.Theunderneathofthecarisstrongenoughtosailasaboat.Itisaprototypeandisnotyetbeingproducedforsale.Thisisaninterestingmoderninvention.Stephenson’s“Rocket”(1781-1848)eStephensonwasoneofthefirstmentodesignenginesfortherailwayswhichwerenewatthattime.OneofthefirsttrackstobelaidwasbetweenStocktonandDarlington.Stephensonwasoneofthefirstrailwayengineersandin1825hedrovethefirsttrainalongtheline.DNAThestructureofDNAThiswasdiscoveryofFrancisCrickandJamesWatsonandpublishedin1953.ThesetwoscientistwerethefirsttoshowthatourgenesconsistoftwospiralsofDNA(calledthedouble-helix).Thisworkleddirectlytothehumangenomeprojectin2003,whichdiscoveredtheStructureofDNA.
