ionofthedeathsentence.Alldeathsentences,ordingtolawshouldbedecidedbytheSupremePeople'sCourt,shallbesubmittedtotheSupremePeople'sCourtforverificationandapproval.DeathsentenceswithasuspensionofexecutionmaybedecidedorverifiedandapprovedbyaHigherPeople'sCourt.mittedoronwomenwhoarepregnantatthetimeoftrial.mitsnointentionalcrimeduringtheperiodofsuspension,mutedtolifeimprisonmentupontheexpirationofthetwo-yearperiod;ifhehastrulyperformedmajormeritoriousservice,mutedtofixed-termimprisonmentofnotlessthan15yearsbutnotmorethan20yearsupontheexpirationofthetwo-yearperiod;mittedanintentionalcrime,thedeathpenaltyshallbeexecuteduponverificationandapprovaloftheSupremePeople'sCourt.esfinal.Thetermofafixed-mutedfromadeathpenaltywithsuspensionofexecutionshallbecountedfromthedatethesuspensionofexecutionexpires.
