P eople of different culture are able to understand this kind of humor even without any culture background information. It can be illustrated by some examples as follows. (1) I’ ll tell you the right way. D id you ever see a man sneak out in the backyard and pick upa rock to throw ata tom-cat that was sitting ona fence looking at him?
