It seems that the poorer the students are, the worse universities they ’ ll study in. Autonomous enrollment, the policy of awarding marks to students with special talents or to those who have won petitions, and the mendation policy makes it more difficult for rural students to be admitted to famous universities. As is known to us all, education is intended for the public, and all should have an equal chance to receive higher education. Therefore, measures should be taken to create a fair educational environment. Besides, students with rural backgrounds need try their best to get more opportunities for themselves, for one ’ s initiative plays a key role in his/her development.
