His life shines with dazzling splendors and contains more meaning. Though his body is destroyed, his spirit exists forever. Carton ’s tragedy is just the humanism ’s tragedy at that period. Carton dies without any regret, and his affection influences us through his tragic life. In my opinion, Sydney Carton is the most essful character created by Dickens inA Tale of Two Cities. I appreciate Carton ’s noble and selfless personality. We see that an average man can also show his noble part. From the character of Carton, we should think of ourselves, and find out our own value, and then we can have a better life.
